A very important notice for the contents of the article! Florenciella lugubris is a fish, not an alga!!! Just click the given link http://www.springerlink.com/content/h864v23038325951/, it leads to the article "Osteology of Florenciella lugubris (Percoidei: Epigonidae)".

There is some mess with the genus Florenciella of Heterokonta. Personally I suspect that this genus is invalid, and the only member of the family Florenciellaceae is the genus Pseudochattonella.
