Missing mention
[edit]This page should mention ectospermalege and mesospermalege which are specialized organs used to store and transport sperm in bedbugs. Raul654 (talk) 04:21, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- The ectospermalege is not a sperm storage organ. The mesospermalege does temporarily store the sperm according to that page before they journey on to the seminal receptacle, spermathecae or conceptacle. I added a mention and links.Skingski (talk) 03:17, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
- Also, I suggest adding File:Traumatic insemination 2.jpg to this article. It contains a picture of a traumatically inseminated female bedbug storing sperm in her spermalege. Raul654 (talk) 04:24, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
- Added wikilink to the Traumatic insemination page where that photo appears.Skingski (talk) 02:47, 3 July 2018 (UTC)
