Why French title?

Calenzio's Frog/Mouse battle was written in Latin, so why the French title Combat des rats contre les grenouilles rather than its Latin title Croacus: De Bello Ranarum ? 2603:7000:B5F0:5300:6C51:1503:4254:E509 (talk) 13:42, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
