The content of Active terminator was merged into Electrical termination. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.

I don't know if it's the same subject, but Terminator links here referring to the resistor or resistor/capacitor cluster on the end of a transmission line to prevent signal reflections. Noise sensitivity

I found this uncited statement in RS-485, "Termination resistors also reduce electrical noise sensitivity due to the lower impedance." There is no mention of that here. Can anyone provide support for this statement? ~Kvng (talk) 13:46, 23 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
