Note on source
[edit]This article contains the source Imperial Vancouver Island: Who Was Who, 1850–1950, by John Francis Bosher. It was published by Xlibris Corporation, a self-publishing company, which would normally discredit it as a reliable source. However, the author was a retired historian with numerous academic articles and books to his credit, taught at reputable institutions, and was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. The book is held in many university libraries. He tried self-publishing this book as an experiment which doesn't detract from its reliability as a source.
