Article structure

[edit]

I believe this article needs to be re-written in the same structure of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and The Simpsons Ride. Thoughts?--Snowman Guy (talk) 12:21, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. To me, both are really good articles. Just having a quick look at this one, the history section could be refined a bit as it has lots of short paragraphs. I might take a look at it sometime within the next few days and see what I can do. Themeparkgc  Talk  23:38, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Intamin

Which source confirms the manufacturer as Intamin? Garuda3 (talk) 08:15, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I'm editing this article as part of a peer review assignment for WRIT6002 at the University of Sydney. My task was to identify areas for improvement and make at least two verifiable edits that align with Wikipedia’s content policies. I chose this page because it already has a tag warning about excessive detail and, upon reading through, I noticed a few small but meaningful issues that could be addressed.

First, I added a [citation needed] template at the end of a sentence describing which rides Despicable Me Minion Mayhem replaced in various Universal Studios locations. This statement appears factual but doesn’t have any inline citations. Because it refers to multiple parks and spans different time periods, I thought it was important to flag this so that future editors can verify it with proper sources, such as press releases, theme park news coverage, or reliable fan archives.

Second, I added a

template above the lead paragraph. Much of the content—especially opening dates, installation details, and ride descriptions—hasn’t been updated since around 2019. Given changes in theme park operations post-COVID, it’s possible that some details may now be outdated. Adding this tag can help prompt future contributors to revisit those sections with newer information.

Although these are relatively small edits, I tried to make thoughtful contributions that improve the article’s accuracy and upkeep. I also left a clear edit summary describing what I changed and why.

Going forward, the page could benefit from updated statistics on attendance, visitor feedback from recent years, and more citations for technical and historical claims. The “Reception” section, in particular, is quite brief and could be expanded with references to reviews or media commentary.

Thanks to all previous editors for their work on the article. I'm glad to have contributed in a small way. – [User:Morna nini] 3 April 2025
