David Miller (South African cricketer) → David Miller (cricketer) – There are 3 cricketers called David Miller with a Wikipedia page, and the South African is by far the most notable, the first only umpired two games, the second only played two FC seasons in England, but the South African has had a long White Ball career. By far most notable. Clearly most popular cricketer: [1] and his page is the only one that really gets views: [2] just scroll for the numbers over time. He gets around 300, whilst the others get around zero. Servite et contribuere (talk) 00:44, 9 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The provided links don't work. This David Miller is the most WP:RECENT of the three. I don't personally see what purposes would be served by ambiguating the title. — BarrelProof (talk) 02:20, 9 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
BarrelProof I might have put them in incorrectly. I will see what I can do. But from what I saw and know, he is clear primary topic, but of course, when saying that, we should also be reminded of NOR. I will see what I can do, I was wondering if the links didn't work in your location (You don't have to tell me but you can), they don't work in my location (Australia). I will see what I can do. Thank you Servite et contribuere (talk) 03:46, 9 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. This David Miller is not the primary topic for the search term "David Miller", so the title should be sufficient to disambiguate him from the other individuals named David Miller. "(cricketer)" isn't sufficient in this regard. – Michael Aurel (talk) 04:36, 10 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I understand, but one user did say that the cricketer named Steve Smith born in 1989 is the overwhelming primary topic for cricketers named Steve Smith, I would say the same thing about South African cricketer David Miller Servite et contribuere (talk) 10:10, 11 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
