[edit]Someone has just removed my description of Michael Eager's article, "Introduction to the DWARF Debugging Format" as "useful". I actually called it "superb" in a comment. I'm not going to undo that edit, but I thought I should point out here that the article is indeed a superb introduction to symbolic debuggers in general and (naturally) to DWARF in particular. Anyone interested in this subject should read the article carefully. Cheers, CWC 12:41, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Too bad; it seems the link is broken. Anybody have a local copy? OsamaBinLogin (talk) 20:12, 10 August 2022 (UTC)

Obsolete? Support?
[edit]Is DWARF becoming obsolete? There's no section here that describes where it's supported. Just a few hints? I know there's some macos support and of course linux... OsamaBinLogin (talk) 20:04, 10 August 2022 (UTC)
Proposed merge of .debug info into DWARF
[edit]non-notable subtopic. Main topic not large enough to be split, so good for merge and redir to (say) a section. Widefox; talk 14:09, 17 April 2025 (UTC)
