Notability Tag?

Kj cheetham - Bit surprised by this. There has been a huge litany of mainstream coverage of Colossal. I'm not sure all the coverage is warranted, but fact is that it exists. I think this page would easily survive AfD. Could we remove the tag? NickCT (talk) 17:01, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, my initial concern was all the coverage I saw seemed to be around 13-17th September about the company funding and launch, which seemed like a WP:NEWSEVENT rather than significant coverage of the (very new) company itself, so could have been a case of WP:TOOSOON. Can you point to some independant significant coverage since then? I wouldn't object if someone removed the tag though, as probably does still meet WP:GNG. -Kj cheetham (talk) 17:54, 19 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kj cheetham: - Yeah, I get your point. And hey, you might be right. Maybe they fail and never get anymore coverage.

If I were to make a counter-point, it would be that even though this business only came in to being recently, the set of people behind the business and their effort has been noted for several years. See this for example. NickCT (talk) 17:12, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone please contact Colossal for images of their animals?

Dodo chicken hybrids that will act as the surrogates for their future dodos
Chip and Dale (woolly mice) (Two images were uploaded before, but they were removed for copyright)
Romulus, Remus, or Khaleesi (dire wolf/grey wolf hybrids)
