~~Weak support~~ per dab policy to avoid unnecessary disambiguation. However, although an official name, it is very clumsy, and does not give any hints about being located in Helsinki/Finland. Oppose. Mumbai Central railway station, Chennai Central railway station, Copenhagen Central Station, Amsterdam Centraal station, Rotterdam Centraal station, Central Station Metro station, and no doubt others, all are or have attached metro stations. The two English-language sources do not use the current article name, but mostly use descriptive phrases (and "Railway Square station"). In terms of WP:UE, this falls into "no established usage" category. WP:UE continues: ...if this can be done without loss of accuracy and with greater understanding for the English-speaking reader. We translate Finnish: metroasema for the above reason, but I'm not convinced that translating the proper name Rautatientori brings greater understanding. Besides, Necrothesp makes a valid point, and in the partially Finnish name we have a WP:natural disambiguation. We do not use foreign-language names unless their use is established in English-language sources. This is not what the UE says. It says almost the opposite: If there are too few reliable English-language sources to constitute an established usage, follow the conventions of the language appropriate to the subject (German for German politicians, Portuguese for Brazilian towns, and so on). 84.251.164.143 (talk) 19:19, 8 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Now that people have mentioned it, Rautatientori metro station is a much better move target. It's not the official English name of the station, but it's the official Finnish name, and it seems to be the common name to go by. JIP | Talk 21:45, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This name is used in English, the current name is just descriptive and isn't used as a proper noun in English (rather phrases such as "Central Railway station's metro station" and "metro at Central Railway Station" do).
