Title change (to conform to MOS:VAR) to "Body piercing jewelry"
[edit]After reviewing the editing history of this article, I found the last version saved by the original author (@Oneliner) on 23 November 2004. The spelling of "jewellery" in the title is Commonwealth English, but the article itself uses the American spelling, "jewelry". For consistence per MOS:VAR, Unless there is a compelling reason to keep the title as is, I propose changing it to "Body piercing jewelry". I can then create a redirect from this article's current title to ensure it can still be found. IanNekosan (talk) 19:07, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
Future edits to this article...
[edit]Howdy! I've been working on the Body piercing materials article and moved some material originally appearing there to this article. The materials article already discusses the metals, organic materials, and polymers typically used in producing these pieces. Judging from what's already here, this article could focus on types of body jewelry (barbells, captive bead rings, clicker rings, septum tusks/spears, ear plugs, tunnels, etc.) and design features. That was my rationale for moving the design recommendations by the APP to this page, but I'd like to expand on these quite and bit and discuss designs even further.
