Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Aminu Maida is a well-known person in Nigeria and beyond. The Nigerian Communication Commission which he leads, regulates all the mobile telephone companies and communications companies in Nigeria. He was appointed by the President of Nigeria, and confirmed by the National Assembly(Parliament) of Nigeria, and plays a key role in advancing data and network coverage in Nigeria.
I will work on getting more sources to validate his importance. I have now added three more references adducing evidence to the subject's importance and credibility. I will continue to build on the article and other contributors may also add sources as they emerge.
Thank You.
