Also wrote the lyrics for the 1965 Eurovision entry from Sweden
[edit]Alf Henrikson wrote the lyrics for the Dag Wirén piece, Annorstädes vals, which won the Swedish Eurovision feeder contest, Svensk sångfinal (later called Melodifestivalen) in 1965, and perhaps also wrote the English version, translated as Absent Friend, as performed at the Eurovision Song Contest of that same year by Ingvar Wixell.
I do not have references to cite except the Wikipedia pages pertaining to Wixell and Eurovision all list Henrikson as the author. I'm not sure in which section this detail might want to be added; the bio, I would think, but the bio is so brief, this might unduly stand out in the chronology of other probably more significant works.
