Alaskan vs Modern Russian - why write modern translation in Cyrillic?

[edit]

there is a vocabulary section which writes the Alaskan Russian compared to the modern russian, but the Alaskan Russian is written in English With the Latin alphabet with certain special or at least certain symbols adorned to Latin characters, why is the Russian written in cyrillic? the average person can't see a comparison between the old and the new if one is written with Latin characters and the other with cyrillic? there's no comparison that can be made unless you are a Russian speaker and are familiar with both alphabets. this is silly. 2601:18A:8180:1B50:1907:931D:4338:F85C (talk) 01:12, 26 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
