326th Fighter Group
[edit]This article has been restored and expanded from a redirect that was created in the assumption that the 326th and 57th Fighter Group were the same unit redesignated. While the 326th Fighter Group has absorbed or transferred all personnel and equipment to or from several organizations (to the 123d and 130th AAF Base Units in 1944, from the 529th Air Defense Group in 1955, and to the 57th Fighter Group in 1961), these are all considered by the USAF as separate and distinct units.
