Relationship to 1st British Academy Film Awards

Just to flag up that I have started a discussion at Talk:1st British Academy Film Awards that is directly relevant to this article. Dunarc (talk) 20:58, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that on BAFTA's awards database, The Cat Concerto (under the incorrect title "The Cat's Concerto") is listed as a nominee for the Special Award. (Both on the current version of their website, and on their old 2011 website.)

However, if you look at the 1949 ceremony awards brochure that's on their website (here's the archived version), and scroll down to the last few images, after the page headed "Films Nominated for Awards", you'll see that The Cat Concerto is not listed as a nominee for The Special Award.
