- Source: "2 Red Objects Were Found in the Asteroid Belt. They Shouldn't Be There". The New York Times. 28 July 2021.
These two rocks, as it turns out, are extremely red — more red than anything else seen in the asteroid belt. While tentative hints of other red asteroids have been found, these two appear to be special.

Overall: The source doesn't mention the asteroid's colour at all, did you link the wrong one? Also, it would be preferred if a source other than an official Government one could be used, due to problems with accuracy/bias I've seen when it comes to statements published by the Emirati government. I do see sources in the article next to the paragraph talking about colour, but just need confirmation as to which source exactly states this. I prefer ALT0. In the article itself, the "see also" section has a red link. Thanks! jolielover♥talk 11:24, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Jolielover: If ALT0 is the preference, then I can replace the references with just the sources for the "reddest" statement. I've made the changes above. I've also removed the redlink for now. I have a friend in the process of creating it, but I can wait for them to finish before I can add it back in. Nrco0e (talk • contribs) 16:49, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
- @Nrco0e: Thanks for that, passing both hooks as being cited and interesting, up to the discretion of the promoter which one they prefer (thought I prefer ALT0). Also, you didn't need to do a QPQ since you have less than 5 nominations :) thanks for reducing the backlog anyway, you can save that review for when you start needing them. jolielover♥talk 17:03, 26 March 2025 (UTC)
