This encampment began on April 30, not May 1. https://www.29news.com/2024/04/30/uva-liberated-zone-gaza-pro-palestine-protest-remains-university-grounds/

Not done. The source we used in the article is from April 30, saying that it is planned for Wednesday, that is May 1. Your source also says that the students took down the tents on April 30. We write: "Students organized various protest activities at the University of Virginia from the start of the Israel-Hamas war and before. On May 1 students established a protest encampment at the university." All of this is still correct. Friendly, Lova Falk (talk) 05:47, 23 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
