Endorsements

[edit]

Why were numerous endorsements removed? I understand that tweets are generally not used as sources, however if it is clearly from a verified account of a politician, I don't see how it could fail to count. I looked over the rules and don't see an issue. Finally if one believes that they should be removed than Merkly's endorsement of Ryan only source is also a tweet and should be removed. However I do not think it should be, its clear he did in fact endorse Ryan. 3Kingdoms (talk) 14:30, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading polling graph

[edit]

The graph under Polling is incredibly misleading as it's mostly made up of (D) sponsored polls. The graph implies Ryan currently has a lead of 5% whereas the aggregate shows him with a lead of 0.4% and the most recent non-biased poll listed has Vance with a 3% lead. Since there aren't enough non-biased polls to paint an accurate picture of current opinions, the graph should be removed. eduardog3000 (talk) 18:46, 26 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Table of general election votes by county

[edit]

Hey, all. The general election county stats are both unsourced and contradictory of what Ohio's SOS website reports. I am not sure where our current stats came from, and I do eventually plan on changing the table's stats to conform to the SOS reporting on this election. One example of a discrepancy: if Ohio had a statewide total of 1,739 write-in votes and has 88 counties, then how come Franklin County has 1,134? An urban/rural population disparity would not entirely vouch for such stat differences in Ohio. Also, with write-in vote totals, why do some parts say 1,739 when another says 7,071? Both cannot be true for the same election.

While my priority is to create new tables, unless if someone does so first, I intend on eventually correcting the county stats of the general election so as to conform with the Ohio SOS information. This article deserves the accuracy, especially since the winner of this election is currently Vice President. Mungo Kitsch (talk) Mungo Kitsch (talk) 05:54, 23 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
