foreign policy

[edit]

I arranged this section by region and country, but in retrospect, I don't think this emphasis on bilateral relations works best. Therefore, I plan to reorganize it so it emphasizes issues. We already have "climate change" and "world trade." Other subtopics (e.g. "international terrorism") can be added as needed.Michael E Nolan (talk) 14:42, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ok, that sounds fine. I appreciate your note, Michael E Nolan.--Sm8900 (talk) 15:01, 2 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Jan 3 entry

[edit]

Part of the entry mentions demonstrations for and against the Iranian general who was killed. That is relevant to the issue but doesn't really belong on the US page. Should be on the 2020 page and/or 2020 in politics and government. Also the 2020 in Iraq article.Michael E Nolan (talk) 22:45, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

okay. glad to revise as you have suggested above. --Sm8900 (talk) 01:21, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
hm, I'm not sure I added that text, so I prefer to leave it alone, unless consensus is to remove it. thanks. --Sm8900 (talk) 01:24, 7 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
