- Earthquake
- The time and date the earthquake occurred should be mentioned in § Earthquake, not just in the lead.
- "The rupture exended from 23 km (14 mi) depth" should be > "The rupture extended from a 23 km (14 mi) depth"
- I would suggest "A sea turtle hatchery worker at Corral de Mulas claimed the shaking" as he is making an uncertain statement (an estimation); I presume he did not time the shaking with a watch.
- Tsunami
- Could Acajutla and La Union be wikilinked to somewhere? Also give additional information as to where they are located.
- "Several dozen" change to just > "Several" as they mean the same thing, and I have not seen a WP article use the former before.
- Change "These sites shared similar geomorphology; these beaches" to "These sites shared similar geomorphology; the beaches" (or the other way around) to avoid repetition.
- Should "Civil Protection" be capitalised?
- "A survey found" – conducted by whom?
- Spotchecks
Passes on refs 1, 5, 6 and 9.
