Nice work! Happy to pass another wonderful earthquake-related article for GA status. Congrats! ❧ LunaEatsTuna (talk), proudly editing since 2018 (and just editing since 2017) – posted at 05:45, 8 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Earthquake
  • The time and date the earthquake occurred should be mentioned in § Earthquake, not just in the lead.
  • "The rupture exended from 23 km (14 mi) depth" should be > "The rupture extended from a 23 km (14 mi) depth"
  • I would suggest "A sea turtle hatchery worker at Corral de Mulas claimed the shaking" as he is making an uncertain statement (an estimation); I presume he did not time the shaking with a watch.
Tsunami
  • Could Acajutla and La Union be wikilinked to somewhere? Also give additional information as to where they are located.
  • "Several dozen" change to just > "Several" as they mean the same thing, and I have not seen a WP article use the former before.
  • Change "These sites shared similar geomorphology; these beaches" to "These sites shared similar geomorphology; the beaches" (or the other way around) to avoid repetition.
  • Should "Civil Protection" be capitalised?
  • "A survey found" – conducted by whom?
Spotchecks

Passes on refs 1, 5, 6 and 9.
