motivation

[edit]

This looks useful for the article:

http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2010/may/21/relatives-id-west-memphis-suspects/

It says the suspects were anti-government extremists of some sort. 69.228.170.24 (talk) 19:42, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

removed cleanup tag

[edit]

I feel the section is now acceptably written, although the 'long intro' tag still seems appropriateSnideology (talk) 04:40, 1 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

no mention of the dogs and skeptics

[edit]

The article does not seem to address what appears to be wide-spread skepticism regarding the shooting. A quick Google search will reveal several pages and discussions on the topic.

Also, there were two dogs in the car. One appears to have been shot to death, while the other managed to escape the car and recovered from its gunshot wounds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.215.162.175 (talk) 03:21, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Responding to both of these comments
1. "wide spread skepticism" you claim to be found with a quick google search amounts to nothing. The best thing I can find is the family of the suspects setting up a webpage that attempts to make many claims that end up begging the question or just downright ignores evidence.
2. There is no evidence a dog was shot to death, there is only evidence of one dog potentially injured jumping out.And even if it was "shot to death", it is reasonably plausible to say that it was caught in the crossfire during the walmart shooting
If any of you have any info, please share it otherwise this is just plain misinformation 71.90.68.187 (talk) 02:39, 7 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
