Points
[edit]Why don't the points add up? --Falcadore (talk) 07:20, 12 November 2008 (UTC)
- It looks like the GT people did not add the Round 8 points to the "pre Round 8" aggregate for 7 drivers. I usually check this in a spreadsheet before creating the page but I obviously slipped up here. I will follow up on this. Thanks for the heads-up. GTHO (talk) 02:29, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- You might find that a dropped worst score situation applied, but only dropped worst score applies to races you attended, so you could not drop a worst score from a round you did not race at. I vaugely recall something similarl being the case for 2007. --Falcadore (talk) 02:44, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
- I doesn't appear that this was applied to the 2006 AGTC as the Sporting Regs state that "All races will count in determining the 2006 Championship". Anyway the issue has been raised with the GT people who have promised to look into it. GTHO (talk) 02:20, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
- In the absence of any further information from the GT people I have amended the table to correct the mathematical errors in the published results. GTHO (talk) 02:08, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
