Yilku1 has removed the "prev" link to the 1938 legislative election because it is not "a Senate election". The 1938 Philippine legislative election is for the unicameral National Assembly of the Philippines under the Commonwealth of the Philippines, which then links both to 1941 Philippine House of Representatives elections and the 1941 Philippine Senate election for the bicameral Congress of the Commonwealth of the Philippines (now simply Congress), which then links to the 1943 election for the unicameral National Assembly (Second Philippine Republic), which then links to the 1946 Philippine House of Representatives elections for the bicameral Congress of the Commonwealth of the Philippines. All of these are different legislatures, different constitutions, and even different colonizers (LOL).
Ideally, the Senate ones should go to the next legislative election, not to the next election of the body that is called a "senate". Otherwise, even the lower house elections won't link to anybody, more so in this 1938-1946 period. Howard the Duck (talk) 20:59, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
- I think it doesn't make much sense going through the senate elections and then going to an article that isn't about the senate. Yilku1 (talk) 03:56, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
- The point is that the National Assembly election goes to a Congress election then to a National Assembly (but not that first National Assembly) election then finally to a Congress election. This is meant to go to a succession of Philippine legislatures. Howard the Duck (talk) 08:57, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
