Offaly v Longford

The Offaly v Longford game cited on this page was not NFL. It was Leinster League which was played in November and December 1928 and involved Longford, Westmeath and Offaly playing each other twice in a double round structure. By December 1928 Longford were out and Westmeath and Offaly played for the title on Sunday 9th December 1928, which Westmeath won by 0-6 to 0-4. Also in December 1928 some reports indicated that Wicklow and Carlow were now part of the Leinster league, though no reports found of them playing anyone but each other. 213.86.221.106 (talk) 13:49, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
