Lieutenant General Tahir Hameed Shah HI(M) is a senior three-star general in the Pakistan Army, currently serving as the Chairman of Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF) at Wah Cantt.[1]

Military career

He was commissioned into the Pakistan Army through the 82nd PMA Long Course and joined the 60 Medium Regiment Artillery.[2]

In 2018, he was promoted from Brigadier General to Major general.[3] As a major general, his notably served as Director General of Weapons & Equipment at GHQ. He also served as GOC of the 16th Infantry Division.[4][5]

In 2023, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. As per 2025, he is serving as Chairman of the Ordnance Factory. [6]
