Stara Sušica is a village in Croatia.

Climate

Between 1960 and 1986, the highest temperature recorded at the local weather station was 33.0 °C (91.4 °F), on 27 July 1983.[3] The coldest temperature was −28.5 °C (−19.3 °F), on 13 February 1985.[4]

A weather station exists above it at an elevation of 891 metres (2,923 ft). The minimum recorded temperature for the winter of 2024–2025 was −18.0 °C (−0.4 °F), on February 20th.[5]

History

The mushroom festival Dani gljiva has been held annually in Stara Sušica since 1998.[6]

Infrastructure

There is a water storage unit in Stara Sušica with a capacity of 60 cubic metres (2,100 cu ft) at an elevation of 782.4 metres (2,567 ft).[7]

In 2020, the castle in Severin was used along with that in Severin na Kupi and the Gomirje Monastery as a filming location for the music video of the županija anthem.[8][9]

The castle was used as a filming location together with the Severin castle by Marko Kutlić for his 2021 national hit Budi moja noć.[10]
