Shree Saibaba Heart Institute and Research Centre (SSHIRC) is a cardiology and multi-specialty hospital located in Mumbai Naka, Nashik, Maharashtra, India. Established in 2009, the hospital was founded by Dr. Aniruddha Dharmadhikari, a cardiologist who has previously worked with institutions such as Sir J.J. Hospital and the University Hospital San Raffaele in Milan, Italy. Originally offering around 17 cardiac bypass surgeries per month at the time of its inception, the hospital now performs approximately 25 such surgeries monthly[1]. SSHIRC provides comprehensive cardiac services including interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, critical care, and advanced cardiac imaging. The hospital has grown in prominence across North Maharashtra and also operates a multispecialty unit near Mumbai Naka in Nashik.[2]

History

The institute was founded by Dr. Aniruddha V. Dharmadhikari, a cardiologist with international training, and Dr. Pallavi Dharmadhikari, a radiologist, in response to Nashik’s need for specialized cardiac services. Over time, it became one of the first standalone heart hospitals in the region, expanding its services and clinical volume.
