Shesh Theke Shuru (transl. Beginning from the end) is a 2019 Indian Bengali language action drama film directed by Raj Chakraborty while story, screenplay and dialogues were written by Aditya Sengupta. The film features Jeet, Koel and Ritabhari Chakraborty in the lead roles.[1] It was shot across London, Dhaka and Kolkata. The movie was adapted from the novel Water & Fire.[2][3] The film became the 50th acting credit for Jeet.
Plot
[edit]A Dhaka-based businessman Mahid Sheikh meets Pujarini while on a plane to London. Pujarini, a bubbly girl charms him and makes him smile after a really long time. They become friends, and soon lovers. Pujarini gets pregnant when mahid is away for some days, his brother Rafit comes to console and convince pujarini not to inform her pregnancy to Mahid. But when the news reaches Bangladesh, Mahid's family wants pujarini and her baby dead fearing that she might be a thorn in their path to bridge the gap between their rival clans. Meanwhile Pujarini flees back to kolkata and mahid gets married to farzana, the daughter of the man he killed in past. As his dark past resurfaces, they struggle to hold onto their love. The movie ends on a note where mahid meets his son after years and they reconcile after several heartbreaks.

Development

[edit]The director Raj Chakraborty and the leading pair Jeet and Koel are collaborating after 4 years since they last worked together in the 2015 film Besh Korechi Prem Korechi.[7]
