Shakha, Pola and Noa
Shakha, Pola and Noa (Bengali: শাঁখা, পলা ও নোয়া), also known as Shankha, Pola and Loha Bandhano,[1] are marriage symbol worn mainly by Bengali Hindu married women.[2] The custom of wearing Shakha, Pola, and Noa is a vital and significant part of Bengali Hindu marriages.[3] Conch is the material used for the Shankha, red coral for the Pola, and iron for the Noa.
