SS City of Cork was a British single screw steamer made of iron for the Inman line in 1862. She was built by William Denny & Co.[1][2]
Maiden voyage and Inman line service
[edit]After being completed and handed over to the Inman line, she was readied for her maiden voyage, which happened on March 21, 1863. She would get 6 more roundtrips with the Inman line before being sold in 1871.[3]
Italian service
[edit]After being sold to Italy by the Inman line, she was renamed to "Mediterraneo". It is unknown what happened after she was renamed.
