List of Azerbaijani exonyms
[edit]62.217.141.159 has made a number edits to List of Azerbaijani exonyms. A subject matter expert should review and determine if the changes are appropriate. 176.108.139.1 (talk) 17:31, 12 April 2025 (UTC)
While adding him to the 1806 in Russia page, I had a question - what should be in his defaultsort? At the moment it appears he is alphabetized under "I", but it seems reading the article that that is his personal name. Shouldn't it be "b" or "K"? I am not aware of how Azerbaijani names of this era are usually alphabetized on Wikipedia.Brianyoumans (talk) 01:53, 4 May 2025 (UTC)
Article for deletion Khumar Gadimova
[edit]Your input is welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Khumar Gadimova. — Itzcuauhtli11 (talk) 15:03, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

The article Justice Party (Azerbaijan) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Tagged as Unreferenced and unimproved for 15 and 1/2 years. This political party's share of the vote is a rounding error, so it's not notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bearian (talk) 21:21, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
The DCWC is back!
[edit]
WikiProject Azerbaijan, the Developing Countries WikiContest will be returning for a second year, and sign-ups are now open! The contest will run from 1 July to 30 September, and the objective remains the same: improve as many articles relating to developing countries as you can to help fight systemic bias on Wikipedia.
In other news, we have a new face on the coordinator team this year: last year's sixth-place finisher, Arconning (talk · contribs)! The coordinators would like to extend a sincere thanks to Ixtal (talk · contribs), who is leaving the team, without whom the contest would not exist. After feedback from contestants last year, the scoring rules are undergoing some modifications; the new rules and a summary of the changes made will be posted to the contest talk page shortly.
If you have any questions, please leave a message on the contest talk page, use the {{@DCWC coordinators}} template, or contact one of the coordinators: Arconning (talk · contribs), sawyer777 (talk · contribs), or TechnoSquirrel69 (talk · contribs).
