Patrick Sheehan is an American politician who has served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 37th district, since being appointed to replace Tim Ozinga who resigned.[1] In the 2022 Illinois Senate election he contested District 19 but was defeated by Michael Hastings.[2] Sheehan is a former police officer for the Plainfield, Illinois Police Department.[3] Sheehan's district includes all or parts of the following communities: Lockport, Homer Glen, Joliet, New Lenox, Mokena, Frankfort, Tinley Park, Orland Park, and Orland Hills.

On September 9, 2024, Sheehan was a member of the following Illinois House committees:[4]
