Onitis brahma is a species of dung beetle in the family Scarabaeidae.[1] It is only known from India but fairly widespread in peninsular India.[2][3][4]

Etymology

Lansberge mentions in the description that the name brahma as proposed by Mr. Reiche (on specimen label?) was maintained.

Description

Black or dark chestnut brown. Length is 21–26 mm, and breadth is 11–13.5 mm.[3]
