Ollie Allsopp (born 13 June 1996) is a professional Rugby union player formerly of Harlequin F.C.,[1] London Scottish F.C.[2] in the RFU Championship,[3] Luctonians and now plays for Birmingham Moseley Rugby.[4] He plays as a centre and fly half.[5] He was also involved in the Hartpury University R.F.C. that won the BUCS Super Rugby championship in 2016-17 against University of Exeter at Twickenham Stadium in a team captained by Sebastian Negri and consisting of Harry Randall (rugby union) , Joe Wrafter and Alex Craig (rugby union). Ollie is also an old Malvern College pupil[6] where he was 1XV rugby captain. Ollie proved critical for Birmingham Moseley Rugby[7] winning their player of the season in the 2023/24 season[8] in a pivotal season for the club where they finished third place in the National League One table in a team consisting of Greg Fisilau, Ashley Johnson (rugby union), Tuoyo Egodo, Seb Nagle-Taylor and Rekeiti Ma'asi-White. Ollie was also a crucial part of Luctonians[9] survival in National League 2 North in the 2017-18 season.[10] During Allsopp's youth career, he played for Worcester RFC before slowly progressing into Worcester Warriors academy and playing u18s level.[11] He also represented Worcester in the 2017 Premiership Rugby Sevens Series at Franklin's Gardens and scored in their 24-28 loss against Newcastle Falcons in the cup quarter final.[12] Ollie also had numerous appearances for Worcester at Premiership Rugby Shield level for them, alongside fellow professionals Ted Hill (rugby union), Jamie Shillcock and Will Butler (rugby union). He also worked at Royal Grammar School Worcester[13] during his first tenure at Moseley as a sport assistant alongside head of rugby Robert Lewis (rugby union) and Aleki Lutui. He made his Moseley debut at home against Darlington Mowden Park R.F.C. and was also involved in the clubs historic pre season 24-15 win against Worcester Warriors.[14]
