The Native New Yorkers Historical Society was an organization located in New York.[1]

The Native New Yorkers Historical Society was founded to preserve New York's past.[1]

Felix J. Cuervo was the organizations' founder and president.[1]

Cuervo, A Navy veteran of World War II, died in August, 1992 at Long Island Jewish Hospital at age 73, his son Robert reported he died of cancer.[1]

The Native New Yorkers Historical Society, along with the New York Life Insurance Company, was instrumental is having a commemorative bronze plaque placed at the Chester A. Arthur Home when the house was delcared a National Historic Landmark on January 12, 1965.[2][3]
