Natasha Hatherall Shawe

Natasha Hatherall Shawe is a British Marketing and PR expert, business owner and advocate for mental health and promotion of women's health, and workplace wellness in the GCC.
She is Founder and CEO of TishTash Communications, founded in Dubai, United Arab Emirates in 2012, and the founder and publisher of online women's magazine, Raemona. Natasha is a strategy board member of PRCA Middle East and a board member of MEPRA - Middle East Public Relations Association. She is featured in the PR Week Middle East Powerbook and Arabian Business 50 Inspiring Female Business Leaders list.
Education
[edit]Born in Jersey, Channel Islands, and raised in Leicestershire, England, Natasha holds Msc. Psychology from University of Exeter, (1999) A Masters in Marketing from University of Leicester (2000) and a PhD from University of Exeter (2003) with a specialist research area into consumer behaviour, addictive consumption and the impact of new media on purchasing habits.
Early career
[edit]Natasha started an academic career as a Graduate Teaching assistant at Alma Mater University of Exeter in the School of Business and Economics with lecturing positions held in marketing principles, consumer behaviour, research methods and statistics before moving into corporate media, communications and planning.

- 2004-2005 - Universal McCann - L'Oréal Press Manager - Managing :'Oreal Golden Consumer products for the UK incorporating L'Oreal Paris, Garnier, Maybelline, Vichy and Carson brands.
- 2005-2010 - Havas - 2005-7 Global Account Director Diageo - 2007-2010 Head of Marketing and Communications.
Middle East and TishTash
[edit]In 2010 Natasha moved to Abu Dhabi in the UAE, heading up marketing for a brands under the Abu Dhabi Media group.
After two years, she set up independent beauty, health and wellness communications agency TishTash as Founder/CEO in 2012 .
TishTash is an independent , self funded communications agency in the Middle East, and purposefully works selectively with emerging and established brands in the industry. Agency clients include ASICS, The Body Shop, Bath & Body Works, Mamas and Papas, Elizabeth Arden, Filorga, Victoria's Secret, and FACES Middle East .
