Mike Walsh is an American politician who served in the South Dakota Senate from the 35th district from 2024 to 2025.[1] His district contains the eastern parts of Rapid City.[2]
Background
[edit]Walsh was appointed by Governor Kristi Noem to replace Jessica Castleberry.[3] Walsh is a US Marine veteran, retired law enforcement officer and small business owner.[4] He ran for a full term in the 2024 South Dakota Senate election but was defeated in the Republican primary by Greg Blanc.[5]
