Midway, Spencer County, Indiana
Appearance
This article may need to be rewritten to comply with Wikipedia's quality standards, as this is GNIS "community" malarkey, outright contradicted by its source Godspeed 1885 calling it a town, in its discussion of "other small villages" of the county. The 1995 Baker book says that it was a village, too. Most contemporary gazetteers, such as the 1880 Lippincott's and de Colange's 1884 National Gazetteer call it a "post-hamlet", i.e. a hamlet with a post office. (February 2025) |
