Marie O'Connor is a camogie player who was born in Ireland. She has already played in a Munster Club camogie final.[1][2] She is known throughout the club scene and has a number of county medals to go with her runners-up provincial medal, and scored the most important goal of her career to date in a 2009 county semi-final win.[3]

Marie is a niece of Brigid Curry, who once won an All-Ireland Junior Camogie Championship medal as captain of the winners in the final.[citation needed] Her aunt also won National League honours when she also captained the winners.
