Margaret Erin Fleming (born July 5, 1992) is an American author, model, and business woman known for her work in social etiquette and hospitality. She is the author of The Art of Entertaining and the founder of Caraton Hospitality, a hospitality service company.

Early life and education

Fleming was born on July 5, 1992, in Houston, Texas. She is mainly of Irish descent. Her great-grandfather was a professional boxer who emigrated from County Cork, Ireland.

Fleming grew up engaging in various sports, including swimming, volleyball, track, and soccer. She was running at a young age, playing up on top soccer teams in the state, and later went to state for soccer with her high school team a few times. She earned degrees in business from Pepperdine University and Texas A&M University.[1][2][2]

Career

Fleming worked and helped start the incubator/accelerator for students at Texas A&M University, worked at Morgan Stanley financial institution, and then Tesla when it was a small company and there was one mass market car model available for purchase.[2] At Tesla, she worked in manufacturing operations and software operations. She mainly organized large-scale events. Her work there involved reporting directly to senior leadership, including Elon Musk.

Fleming is the founder of Caraton Hospitality, a small hospitality service company based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.

As an author, Fleming published The Art of Entertaining, a guide to navigating social and professional settings, which has been featured in Yahoo Finance and the US & Canada Report. The book emphasizes the tips and tricks of hosting to help the host or hostess throughout their trips.[3]

Fleming works as a professional model and works with brands including Shiseido, Ariat, Athleta (the athleisure line owned by Gap Inc.), and Everyday Yoga. She’s covered magazines and her work has been featured in international magazines such as Max Health & Beauty Magazine and Showbiz Magazine.[2] She has served as a board member for M3 Life Sciences and Top Ten Talent Services since 2011.[2]
