Louisa Crow, (July 3, 1826 – 1895) was a popular English writer of the 19th-century. She wrote both novels and poetry; novels included An Honorable Estate and poetry included Once a Week. She was published for most of her career (1866 onward) at Bow Bells (London),[1] after first publishing for John Dicks' cheap novel series. Her maiden name was Louisa Elizabeth Finn. She married Stehen Crow, a carpenter and innkeeper, in 1848 and had several children. She died of influenza in 1895, "in the harness after a 40 years continuous production of a long series of novels."[2]
