List of storms named Hazel

The name Hazel has been used for seven tropical cyclones worldwide: two in the Atlantic Ocean, two in the Eastern Pacific Ocean, one in the Western Pacific, one in the South-West Indian Ocean, and one in the Australian region of the Indian Ocean. The name Hazel has been retired or dropped from the storm names list in all basins, except for the South Pacific region, which hasn't used the name Hazel yet.

Atlantic Ocean

The name Hazel was retired by the U.S. Weather Bureau following the 1954 season.

Eastern Pacific Ocean

The name Hazel was retired from further use on the rotating Eastern Pacific tropical system naming lists by the U.S. Weather Bureau following the 1965 season. The name Hazel was replaced with Heather.
