Kenny McCormick, one of the characters from the animated series South Park, died in almost every episode in the first five seasons.[1] After the episode "Kenny Dies", the boys try to find a new friend to take his place in "Professor Chaos" (in a parody of The Bachelor[which?]) after Butters takes the role of "Kenny", but is kicked out. This role is then given to Tweek.
This list contains every episode where Kenny himself has died, so some episodes like "Fat Camp" and "Make Love, Not Warcraft"" have been excluded from this list as these are fictional and impostor versions of Kenny.
Kenny is hit by the space station Mir in the beginning. He later comes back as a zombie and is sawed in half by Kyle. At the end he also comes out of his grave, but is immediately crushed by a statue and a crashed plane.
Kenny is thrown onto the railroad tracks by a go-kart. There, he is run over by a train. Stan's grandfather recorded this and wins the main prize of the competition. When Stan, Kyle and Cartman see this video, Stan and Kyle say: "Oh my god! They videotaped killing Kenny! You bastards!"
During the South Park vs. China dodgeball game, a Chinese throws a dodgeball at Kenny. The ball hits him so hard that he flies into the wall behind him and dies.
The big, burning Snake goes berserk and Kenny is nearly killed by it. Then the safety fence crushes him. In the flashback, Baby Kenny's head is blown off by a firecracker.
Kenny is crushed by a group of people leaving the theater. In this episode, Stan and Kyle don't say the famous lines, but two tourists do and the line is slightly modified. (Tourist 1: "Oh my god, I found a penny!" Tourist 2: "You bastard!")
Kenny dies at the beginning of the episode for unknown reasons while they are waiting for Chef. At sunrise, he suddenly comes back to life. However, he is later rammed to death by Succubus.
Kenny is thrown into a river wearing cement shoes. However, the river is not deep enough to drown in. But while trying to get out, he falls into a hidden ditch and drowns anyway.
After Stan vents to him about Kyle dying. Because Kenny dies all the time, he curses out Stan and walks home angrily and is instantly crushed by a piano.
This episode doesn't show Kenny dying, but at the end he is lying on a sled pulled by Craig. We see that Kenny has 2 holes in his head and is burned. He also has a wound that comes from a claw cut.
Kenny dresses up as the son of Mr. Jefferson (Michael Jackson) and dies when Mr. Jefferson throws him through the ceiling. Kenny doesn't have a parka on so you can see his face and hear his voice.
When Bebe Stevens fights with Wendy Testaburger over a gun, Wendy fires a bullet. The bullet doesn't hit either of them, but instead flies through the window of Kenny's house and through his head, while at dinner.
Kenny dies multiple times as his (talking) alter ego Mysterion. Dying and living again is his gift. At the end he says he wants to go to sleep and shoots himself. Then he is reborn and his parents put him back to bed, as they have done more than 80 times.
After being the poorest kid in school again, Kenny is picked up by a large reptile and thrown around and eventually eaten. This time Stan and Kyle didn't say what they always say, this time Stan just said: "What the f*ck?"
After watching the Terrance and Phillip movie, Kenny sets his fart on fire for a bet. This burns him and he is taken to the hospital. There the doctors replace his heart with a potato. When he wakes up the doctors say he has three seconds left to live. Kenny just shouts "What?" when the potato explodes from his body.
In season 6, Kenny is not involved in the episodes because he is dead for the entire season. However, this season focuses on Kenny's soul, which takes possession of Eric Cartman for a while after he accidentally drinks Kenny's ashes in the episode "A Ladder To Heaven". In the last episode of season 6, Kenny suddenly shows up again. Since then, he dies less often than in the first five seasons.
In the episode "The Biggest Douche in the Universe", Rob Schneider eats a piece of meat that Kenny's soul is currently in. In the trailer for the movie Rob Schneider is Kenny, Rob Schneider, dressed as Kenny, is impaled by a flagpole, like in "Weight Gain 4000". Kenny's soul dies, only in a different body.
In seasons 10, 12 and from season 16 onwards, Kenny does not die. In the episode Make Love, Not Warcraft, Kenny's character dies in the game World of Warcraft, after which Stan and Kyle use their catchphrase even though Kenny is not actually dead.
In total, Kenny has died 86 times. He has died in 83 separate episodes, along with his three deaths in The Coon.
