List of current Australian Football League coaches

This list includes the appointment date and performance record of current Australian Football League senior coaches. The league consists of 18 clubs across Australia.
Chris Scott, the senior coach of the Geelong Cats since September 2010, is currently the longest-serving coach in the league. He has won two premierships, won the most matches (200) and has a winning percentage of 70.28%.
Five current coaches have won at least one AFL premiership during their current term: Luke Beveridge in 2016; Simon Goodwin in 2021; Chris Scott in 2011 and 2022; Craig McRae in 2023 & Chris Fagan in 2024. Alistair Clarkson and Damian Hardwick have won premierships with other clubs prior to their current appointments.

- ^ Simon Goodwin was named as the succession coach of Melbourne in 2014, he took over as senior coach from Paul Roos after the conclusion of the 2016 AFL season.
- ^ Cox joined the Sydney Swans as an assistant coach under senior John Longmire at the end of the 2017 season.[3] On 26 November 2024, two months after the club suffered a 60-point loss to Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final, the club announced Longmire's resignation as senior coach and that Longmire would hand the senior coach role to assistant coach Cox, who becomes the 46th senior coach of the Sydney Swans.
