On 14 October 2021, Justice Mohammad Rafiq took oath as the chief justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court.[1]

Himachal Pradesh High Court was established on 25 January 1971 under State of Himachal Pradesh Act, 1970 and had 29 Chief Justices till date excluding Acting Chief Justices and Current Chief Justice Gurmeet Singh Sandhawalia who is serving from 29 December 2024.
