Liaan Ferreira is a South African actor and producer. His credits include 7de Laan (2021), the crime comedy Koek (2024), and Nêrens, Noord-Kaap (2024).[1]
Career
[edit]Ferreira decided to be an actor at 11, inspired by Marlon Brando’s performance in On the Waterfront.[2] In 2013, he participated in the Heat ManWatch Competition.[3]
In 2020, Ferreira joined the cast of 7de Laan, playing Llewellyn Paulsen.[4] He retired from the series in mid-2021.[5] In 2021, he joined the cast of KykNET series Getroud met rugby as Frank du Plooy.[6]
Ferreira's performance in the 2021 short film Visor won him several awards in the United States.[7][8][better source needed] His short film Fistful of Dreams was awarded the Fall Award for Best Cinematography at the Alternative Film Festival (AltFF).[citation needed]
