Kylie Jane Babbington[1] (born 13 December 1987)[2] is a British actress best known for her single television role, playing Jodie Gold on EastEnders from June 2010 to November 2011. Kylie Babbington stands at 5 feet 7 inches (1.70 m) tall.[3]
Early life and education
[edit]Babbington was born in Havering, London[1] in 1987.[2] She studied acting and musical theatre at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, where she appeared in productions of Assassins, Elergies, Essex Girls and Odin.[4]
She is the daughter of James Babbington and Wendy Wooldridge, and has a younger brother named Joel George Babbington, born in 1991. Kylie attended the renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School, where she began developing her acting skills. Interestingly, she is only 14 years younger than actress Zöe Lucker, who portrayed her mother on EastEnders.[5]

Life and career
[edit]In 2010 she was cast in the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Jodie Gold, daughter of Vanessa Gold (Zöe Lucker) and a love interest for Darren Miller (Charlie G. Hawkins).[7] Babbington's character was written out in November 2011. Beyond her stint on EastEnders, Kylie's on-screen appearances include participation in the 2010 edition of Children in Need, a British charity telethon.[8]
Personal life and family
