Krnja Jela (Serbian Cyrillic: Крња Јела) is a village in the municipality of Sjenica, Serbia. According to the 2002 census, the village has a population of 47 people.[1]
History
[edit]In the early 18th century, the village was mainly inhabited by Albanians who became assimilated to Slavic culture and identity. In 1701, 13 families containing a total of 92 people were identified to be of Albanian Catholic tribes.[2]
