King Fahd Mosque (Muzaffarabad)

The Mosque of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in the city of Muzaffarabad, is a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,[1] following the devastating earthquake that struck Pakistani regions on October 8, 2005.[2][3]

Description

The mosque can accommodate more than six thousand worshippers, and contains spacious courtyards and designs inspired by the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.
